This is what we do while CG is at preschool.

The End

The stomach bug! Every stinking year we get the stomach bug! I thought that since it was March we were safe. But oh no! A big round of it came to our city and we all picked it up....AT.THE.SAME.TIME!! I thought it was going to be the end of us. CG, Jon and I literally shared a toilet at one point. Oh my gosh that's disgusting. Thankfully, HW never threw up and both kids slept a lot.

We did wake them up to see how crackers would go while snuggling and watching Frozen.

And then it gets worse. At least on my heart. HW got a cold after the stomach bug, which led to his first ear infection, which led to his first prescription. Even though he was taking the medicine, he just wasn't himself. I had that mommy feeling that something wasn't right, but I pushed it aside. WELL a week into the meds, HW woke with a small rash. That rash turned into head to toe red spots and then swelling of the face, lips, fingers! And itching, oh the itching. This momma was scared. We went to the doctor. They gave him a steroid shot. And we think it was an allergic reaction to the meds.

Then it was 2 weeks of crying and not sleeping through the night. Knock on wood, I think we are all better now!

Random

Some random things.

Repainted the main bathroom and Jon put in new light switches and plugs. So kind of him! Next step is to paint the cabinets...yuck!

My parents came to visit, so we left...ha. We went on a much needed night away to Kansas City.

I do love that my kids can clean with Norwex and it's safe. HW doing his part! 

CG LOVES preschool! We are so thankful. This past week her class put together a circus. Here she is being an elephant!

Bowling

Free bowling happens everyday for kids around here so we finally took advantage of it. The kids did great. But one game was plenty!

These Two

CG and HW are buddies. I LOVE when they play together. My heart skips a beat when they talk to each other, laugh, imagine! It's not all fun and games but when it is, it's wonderful.

We went to eat lunch at Freddie's. They had one hotdog and fries. We were their an HOUR! They are such slow eaters. We had a great time!

One day they were so quite so I went to check on them. CG was in bed and HW was working on the computer. 

Snacks together! 

CG had a chocolate mustache so we were taking pictures...enter HW! 

Adventures

This particular day was a great day. The weather was cool but sunny. Jon called me and told me they were tearing down an old apartment complex right across from the stadium. So with CG at preschool, HW and I went to find it.
It was really cool. HW loved it and we found a parking spot right in front of it! Unheard of on campus.

Then later in the day the kids and I were at the store and a hot air balloon when flying right over us. It was the kids first experience with a real balloon! I noticed that it looked pretty low like it was landing, so we jumped in the car and chased it down!! Along with a dozen others.

Dance

CG had her first dance class on Thursday. She did great. We had lots of whining leading up to it for various things so I was a little worried. But as soon as she saw the room with mirrors she was ready to go. She did great!
